My poem got into the school's literary magazine.
Bursting floral infernos decorating trees
Crunching earth beneath my feet
Engulfed by the late summer beauty
The trinkle of the nearby river
Light sparkling off of the water
Like sprites dancing upon the lilypads
Greenery surrounds and the sun penetrates through leaves
A graceful bird intrudes, interrupting the silence
Flies away, leaves nothing but branches rustling
And creatures tweeting.
