Ode to Summer.

Grass in between my toes, sun kissed skin
Long bike rides, the distant sound of seagulls
Green leaves on trees, dad's Jimmy Buffet albums floating towards the pool
Fireworks on the fourth, smoke from the grill
The smell of citronella, firewood crackling on cold nights
Road trips to the beach, sandy flip flops
Bare feet, arms and legs
Watching The Seven Year Itch continuously
Getting the hair off the back of my neck
Late nights, hot nights, no nights
I'll take it all.

We don't get summer in the UK. It's very depressing.

Nice writing.
